Plan Your Cruise

Choosing a cruise

It is important that you choose the right cruise. Factors that you should consider include the time of the cruise, the type of ships and the type of cabin that you will be comfortable traveling in. Remember, river cruise ships have smaller cabins and it is best to consult with a river cruise specialist before making a reservation. Our helpful specialists will be glad to assist you in choosing the right cruise.

Making a reservation

Once you know which sailing, ship and cabin you are interested in, you should place that cabin on hold. Remember, river cruises are usually booked far in advance and to ensure that you have the best selection (and the best rate) we advice that you book your cabin ahead. Practically, you will need to make a deposit in the amount of 20% in order to reserve a cabin. In case of special 2-for-1 promotion you may be required to pay the full balance at reservation. Ask your dedicated river cruise specialist about payment terms and conditions. We will send you an invoice for the final payment when it is due.

Book by calling us

We recommend that before booking a cruise, you consult with one of our professional specialists, who will help you to choose the best cruise for you, to understand the difference between ships, cabins, programs. If you have any special requests, they will be properly addressed and travel arrangements will be made to accommodate you. Office contact information

Book online

Planning for your trip

When it comes to planning for your trip, you will need to think of three things: airfares, trip insurance and visas. You may also want to make prior arrangements for transfer service from airport to the ship. And, in case if you would like to extend your cruise program with few days in Moscow, Saint Petersburg or another city, you will need to make plans for that. Of course you will go over all of these things with your travel specialist who will point out all important points to consider and all available options.

Airfares

You will also need to think about airfares. Again, our specialists will be happy to assist you in finding the best available option and place them on hold for you. We can place airfares on hold for you for up to three days after which you will need to pay the full balance for airfares. You can book your airfares before or after reserving a cabin. We advice you to do this at the same time.

Trip insurance

We recommend our customers to obtain trip insurance. Trip insurance should be purchased shortly after you have made a reservation - usually within 10 days.

Visas

Travelers from most western countries need tourist visas in order to enter Russia. Our Visa Department in Washington DC will assist you in this process and guide you step-by-step. Shortly after you have made your reservation we will be sending you detailed instructions. If your cruise includes Russian visas, we will be sending you a link to the visa form to fill out. If your cruise does not include Russian visa, we will send you a link to our website where you can purchase an official invitation or full visa processing service.
