"We have just had the trip of a lifetime!"
Thank you for your research and finding a tour we could afford.
Travel All Russia was great. Everything ran on time and was very organized.
Boat was immaculate. Someone was always vacuuming halls or washing down decks, etc.
Food was breakfast buffet. Lunch and dinner were 4 course sit down meals with linens.
Was nice to have a little slower pace between Moscow and St. Petersburg, and the 4 tours along the river were all about 3 hours in length.
Enjoyed all types of classes and activities on board - Language, cuisine, dancing, singing, choosing souvenirs, etc. Even had a roundtable discussion with Americans and Russians. Was fascinating to hear the different views from different generations.
The tour is NOT for someone who has not traveled abroad before.
There were only 21 Americans (including us) on this trip. Along with the 100 Russian crew, there were 166 Russians, 62 Spaniards, 22 from French speaking Quebec, and 2 from Tasmania, 2 from New Zealand, and 2 from Holland, so you have to be able to adjust to being a minority and open to other cultures. Cabins are small and bathroom even smaller, but once you get past that, you're good.
